Šimon Kern je slovenský umelec a dizajnér, ktorý vo svojej tvorbe využíva netradičné interaktivne a participativne stratégie. Ich prostredníctvom sa snaží vymazať bariéru medzi umeleckým objektom a jeho pozorovateľom, pričom spôsobuje, že samotný divák sa stáva súčasťou umeleckého diela.

Šimon Kern is a Slovak artist and designer who uses non-traditional interactive and participatory strategies in his work. Through them he tries to erase the barrier between the art object and its observer, causing the viewer to become a part of the artwork.
